With the objective that the public employees attend|serve better to the citizens, the Balearic School of Public administration, makes these days the course Skills of Communication and Attention to the Citizen. The purpose is to endow the worker of the bases and the necessary resources|appeals to develop its|his|her|their work in an effective way in the department to which it|he|she belongs. It is basic that the public employees who have direct relation|relationship daily with the citizens have the communicative arms enough, to know to explain and to know how to listen to the demands|lawsuits that they make him|her. On the other hand, the course also makes emphasis in the need that the workers of the Autonomous Community take consciousness of the importance that has its|his|her|their task.
The course of Skills of Communication and Attention to the Citizen is addressed to all the public employees of the CAIB and has received more than 100 requests. Thus, 31 persons have not been able to access it and have remained in waiting list. The participants of the course reply, mainly, a fourth part of them of the sanitary area in that of administrative assistant.
The pupils study techniques of verbal and non verbal communication, psychological styles of the citizens and techniques to handle difficult situations. All the formation|training will develop through the realization of simulations, role plays and the resolution practical cases. The teachers been in charge of imparting of these matters|subjects are Humberto Borrás and Victoria González, psychologists specialized in communicative skills.
