The economic vice president listens to the restlessness of the sector of the touristic trade

The vice president economic|economical, of Entrepreneurial Promotion and of Employment|Occupation, Josep Ignasi Aguiló, accompanied by the general director of Trade and Company, César Pacheco, has received today a delegation of the Association of Traders and Companies of Touristic Services of Mallorca (Acotur), headed by its|his|her|their president, José Tirado, to treat the situation and the main restlessness of the sector. The meeting|encounter, that has tengut place in|on the headquarters|see of the Vice-Presidency in the Castelló Polygon of Sleep, the vice president is set|framed in the contacts that it|he|she usually maintains to know the worries and the reflections of the main agents of the economy|economics of first hand.

In the course of the meeting, the representatives of Acotur have reiterated its|his|her|their sol•licitud so that the Government intercedes in the face of the State so that the trades placed in touristic zones can sell tobacco again, possibility that came off prohibited with the regulations of tobacco approved the former state legislature.

In this sense, Aguiló has explained that the Balearic Government has already transferred this claim on several occasions to the Executive from the State, which is the one that has competences|competitions to authorize this sale, and it|he|she has advanced that it|he|she will insist on this sol•licitud when the modification of the state regulations is brought up in this matter|subject.

On the other hand, the association has set forth that the touristic trade is strongly affected by the seasonality of the economic|economical activity. With respect to this, the vice president has remembered the several measures that the Government has proposed for pal•liar-her, as|like the allowance of the lengthening of the contracts of the fixed|steady discontinuous -collection in the work reform-, the maintenance of the reduced VAT for the touristic products or the discount of the air rates.

Another of the worries that Acotur has brought to light is  the disloyal competence|competition in the sector of the trade. Aguiló and Pacheco have promised to increase the inspectors for controlling the bad practices in this area and to foster a commercial competence|competition suitable for the rules.
