Experimental Plan of Dual Professional Training

The counselor of Education, Culture and Universities, Rafael Bosch, accompanied of the president of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation of Mallorca, Joan Gual de Torrella, they have shown|presented the new Professional Training Dual.

This new educational modality will start to develop, from the next month of September, to|in different educational centers of Mallorca through an experimental program and thanks to an agreement of collaboration between both entities.

The Professional Training Dual is a formative model with which a title of the educational system and that combines, along two years, the formation|training is obtained from the pupils in an educational center and the practical formation|training in a company developing a rewarded work activity.

In this way, the pupils that process its|his|her|their studies to|in the Dual Professional Training simultaniejaran since the beginning the knowledge acquired in the educational center with the work activity in the companies, since from the beginning of its|his|her|their formation|training they will have a contract of work for the formation|training and the learning. Thus, not just they will improve its|his|her|their qualification, but also its|his|her|their possibilities of work insertion in the future.

The profile of the pupils of this experimental program encompasses youngsters of between 16 and 25 years that gather the academic requirements, that any previous qualifications of FP or certifications of professionalism and that they have not overcome do not have the first course of a Program of Professional Qualification Initial (PQPI), although they will be able to have work experience or qualification of the sector in question.

The formative cycles of Professional Training with which this experimental program will start are the following ones:

• Cuina and gastronomy
• Instal·lacions frigorífiques and of air conditioning
• Manteniment of facilities thermal and of fluids
• Desenvolupament of web applications

Given that the Dual Professional Training is an experimental program, the professional families with which it will start are Hotel Business and Tourism, Installation and Maintenance and Computer Science and Communications. This experimental plan will be being broadened in a gradual way to|in other families professional and to|in other titles of professional training.
